1. Cutting part: The cutting part has many teeth, which play a cutting role. Each additional tooth of cutter tooth diameter is used to remove all machining allowance.
2. Calibration part: the teeth on the calibration part play a corrective role. The number of teeth is small, and the diameter of each tooth is the same.

1. Handle: Hold the broach and transmit power.
2. Neck: The diameter of the connecting part between the neck and the back is equal to or slightly smaller than the diameter of the handle. Broach material, size specifications and other signs are generally marked on the neck.
3. Transition cone: the transition part between the front of the neck before wheat harvest, used to align the center.
4. Guiding part: the cutting part plays a guiding role before entering the workpiece to prevent the broach from skewing, and can check whether the aperture of the workpiece is too small before pulling, so as to avoid too heavy and damaged one tooth of the broach.
5. Rear guide plate: Keep the correct position of the broach to prevent the workpiece from sagging when the broach is about to leave the workpiece, damaging the machined surface and teeth.
6. Rear support part: For long and heavy broaches, the tail (rear support part) needs to be made behind the rear guide part. The tail diameter D depends on the size of the broaching support, length l tail =(0.5-0.7)D tail. But the general requirement is not less than 20mm.
